PATIENT SERVICES IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE TO A FEW PATIENTS. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVIENCE CAUSED. We have escalated this to the thrid party provider that offers this service. In the mean time should you wish to order a prescription online please use engage consult (admin service not prescription) or use the NHS App instead.
Please note that we require 3 full working days to process your repeat prescription.
We have a fully computerised system for prescriptions. Patients should have a request slip and this may be dropped in or posted .
Repeat prescriptions are normally issued for one month at a time. This is recommended by our Clinical Commissioning Group. Under some circumstances (eg prolonged abscence from home) up to 3 months may be issued at a time.
We do not take requests over the phone because of the obvious risk of error.
If your repeat slip is lost, please send your request in writing.
Please allow three (3) working days, or 72 hours, before collection at the surgery and four (4) working days if collecting the prescription from the pharmacy.
Patients living more than a mile or 1.6 km from the nearest pharmacy may collect their prescriptions from us during normal opening hours.
Please note that patients not registered with us can now phone 111 for a repeat prescription.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to speak with our clinical pharmacists at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your prescriptions. You may also received a SMS if the practice holds an up to date mobile number.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
