1) Can I still request through an App by online or community pharmacies to order my prescriptions?
No. If you are already using an App to request your medication. We would like you to download the NHS App to request for your medication. The NHS App allows you to choose and change your nominated pharmacy anytime, and allow you to view your medical records. This is part of the NHS wider plan to give you more control about your health.
2) Will I still be able to go to my usual pharmacy to collect my medication?
Yes. This will not change unless you have decided to change your nominated pharmacy on the NHS App. The only change is how you will be ordering your medication.
3) What if I cannot order online and I cannot come to your practice each month to drop off my request into your letterbox?
Please contact the practice, ideally via Engaged Consult 24/7, or on the phone to discuss potentially having your prescription on repeat dispensing/batch. If you need to contact us via phone, we will encourage that you ring only on Tuesday to Thursday between 11 am-12.30 pm and 3.30 pm to 6 pm where the phone line will be less busy.
